This rare and highly coveted Vince Lombardi hand written and signed personal check was recently discovered, authenticated and encapsulated (October 2019). This treasure is one in a collection of 31 checks that will be offered in this auction, each of which is being offered in separate lots throughout the auction. It also represents the last remaining Vince Lombardi checks available from the May 2018 find. Most signed Lombardi checks that you will see are the Green Bay Packers business checks that are written by someone else and signed by Lombardi. These checks being offered now are unique and highly desirable because they are written entirely by the hand of Vince Lombardi himself from his own personal checking account. Vince Lombardi checks have really sky rocketed in value over the last several years but these rare personal checks have been virtually non-existent until now. This is solid gold investment for football and/or check collectors. Impeccable provenance on this check written and signed by Vince Lombardi from his own personal checking account. The check has been authenticated and encapsulated by BGS/Beckett Grading Services. This check dates all the way back to 1964, Lombardi's 6th of 10 years with the Green Bay Packers. Lombardi had an amazing 105-35-6 overall record as an NFL head coach including and unbelievable 9-1 record in the playoffs.
