This lot features a 1960's New York Yankees "Picture Pack" of 12 photos measuring 5x7 with its original mailing envelope. "Picture Packs," as they are commonly known, were issued annually on a team-by-team basis by Jay Publishing between the years 1958 and 1965 and consist of twelve individual black-and-white player photos. Most of the photos (5 x 7 inches) were printed on thin glossy stock; however, the quality of the paper used could vary from team to team and year to year. Although normally sold at Major League concession stands and retail stores, "Picture Packs" were also available by mail. Includes: Mickey Mantle, Roger Maris, Whitey Ford and Yogi Berra.
