This lot features a RARE 1985 Nike Air Jordan shoe signed and inscribed "To Mark, Michael Jordan" in black marker. Beautiful rookie signature of his Airness. The shoe has "9 850103 TY1" in white inside the shoe referring to the size and date of the shoe. The 9 refers to the size and the "850103 TY1" coding on the inside of the shoes refers to the date of production. These shoes were made in 1985 between the months of January (01) and March (03). TY1 stands for “Tong Yang”, these Air Jordan I's were produced at the “Tong Yang'” factory. The shoes itself, unsigned, is an incredibly rare and highly coveted collectible. The fact that Jordan penned a rookie signature makes this an extremely rare Michael Jordan treasure.
