This lot features a Bill Dickey c. 1920's Catcher's mitt From the Bill Dickey collection. Dickey kept this glove over the years but we weren't able to ascertain its importance to him. It was produced by Schmelzer's Sporting Goods in Kansas City, MO. Given it's size, it's likely that he wore it early on in his baseball career.
