This lot features a Boston Red Sox home Mitchell & Ness jersey signed by legendary hitter extraordinaire Ted Williams in blue marker with a rare "Splendid Splinter" inscription. Both the jersey and the signature/inscription remain in mint condition. The Mitchell & Ness jersey itself is a collectors items and retails for $500 with all of the tags still attached. Williams is widely considered to be the greatest hitter to ever play the game. Williams signed jersey's are drying up as it is and the jerseys with added inscriptions are really becoming obsolete as collectors are holding on to them once they are able to acquire them.
