Walt Alston signed personal check originating directly from the Walt Alston Estate. Beautiful, bold Alston signature on this check dated September 11th, 1959. Alston made the check out for $1290.95 to Internal Revenue Service. He managed the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers from 1954 through 1976, signing 23 one-year contracts with the team. Regarded as one of the greatest managers in baseball history. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from the Walter Alston Estate. Nice "vintage" signed Alston check.
