Walter Johnson, nicknamed "Big Train'' due to the blinding speed of his fastball, is one of the greatest pitchers in MLB history. He played 20 seasons for the Washington Senators (1907-1927) and won the triple crown three times. He was among the first group of players inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1936, along with Ty Cobb, Babe Ruth, Honus Wagner, and Christy Mathewson.
