This treasured lot features an actual Ty Cobb check written by his own hand in his signature green ink. "The Georgia Peach" remains one of baseball's all-time most difficult signatures to obtain. This Cobb signature on this check is gorgeous as Cobb wrote the check on May 15th, 1954, made out to "Basil J Farris" for $6. On the signature line he signed "Tyrus R. Cobb" in bold green ink. A virtually flawless example. Cobb checks are quickly drying up and this lot presents a great opportunity to acquire one of the nicest ones in existence.
