This jersey is made by Russell and is a size 44. The Russell label is located on the outer front left tail. The numbers and the NOB are screened on the jersey in white, with the NOB screened on a name plate, which, in turn, is sewn onto the jersey. The jersey itself compares favorably to game photos of Young from 1987. The NOB front is correct and, on some 1987 game photos of Young, his sleeves are cut a bit shorter than normal for 1987-88. The sleeve features only 2 red stripes on both sides, as opposed to three red stripes. The jersey shows light wear, understandable as 1987, Young’s first season with the 49ers, found him only playing in 8 games, 3 of them being starts.
