This lot features a very attractive, high end Roger Maris single signed baseball with incredible provenance detailing how this baseball was obtained from our consignor. This ball has a beautiful Maris signature on the sweet spot with no other signatures on this official league ball. The ball was acquired by our consignor in 1983 when he learned that the wife of his boss at the time was Roger's cousin. His boss was kind enough to have Roger autograph some baseballs for him and his friends and he was the only one of the bunch that kept it protected for the last 28 years. The ball is accompanied by James Spence Authentication as well as a detailed account of how this treasure was obtained. Great single signed Roger Maris baseball with impeccable provenance.
