This lot features a Robin Yount 1989 Milwaukee Brewers game used batting helmet exhibiting excellent overall use including pine tar remnants. The helmet was made by ABC (American Baseball Co.) and is size 7. The 1989 season was Yount's best as he won the American League MVP Award with 21 HR's, 103 RBI and a .318 BA while playing stellar shortstop for the Brewers in an era when shortstops didn't hit all that well. This helmet is accompanied by a detailed letter of authenticity from John Taube/J. T. Sports.
