Rafael Palmeiro 1986 rookie Louisville Slugger signature model C271 exhibiting excellent overall use with ball marks, deeply imbedded stitch marks, 10" handle crack and pine tar. The bat measures 33.75 inches and weighs 31.2 ounces. Pameiro placed his first order with Louisville Slugger C271 bats while he was a rookie with the Cubs on 9/15/86. He was a late season call up in 1986 hitting 3 HR's with 12 RBI in 73 at bats. There is a #12 written on the knob in faded black marker indicating that teammate Shawon Dunston likely used this bat as well. Palmeiro is one of only 4 players in the history of baseball to hit for over 500 HR's and 3,000 Hits.
