This lot features an exceedingly rare "PRINCE" album signed by the artist at a KMOJ Studio Release Party back in 1979. Authentic Prince signatures are extremely difficult to find, let alone purchase. He stopped signing autographs back in 1996 at the age of 37 meaning he simply didn't sign autographs for the last 20 years of his life. This signature is even more unique in that there is no salutation. It's simply signed "Love Prince, X". Prince is regarded as one of history's All-Time Great musicians and was known for his especially flamboyant personality. Prince was immensely talented as evidenced by the fact that he mastered so many different instruments. His music also incorporated a wide array of styles, including funk, R&B, rock, new wave, soul, pop, jazz, blues, and hip hop. Prince produced his albums himself. He was simply one of the most talented and popular musicians to ever grace the stages. He was taken from us way too soon in April 2016 at the age of only 57. Accompanied by a Beckett Letter of Authenticity.
** This lot originates from the personal collection of Chad Litherland who worked for Prince from 2002-2005 and will be accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from Litherland. **
