This jersey is made by Rawlings and is a size 42, normal for Smith in this time frame. The jersey tagging is located on the inside left back tail. The tagging includes a red Rawlings manufacturer label with a flag tag sewn under the edge of the Rawlings label (SET 2 1992). The Rawlings label is the correct design for 1992 Cardinals gamers. Since Rawlings in 1992 was not part of the MLB uniform contract from 1992-99, this red label was used by teams on jerseys that ordered from Rawlings. Also, during that time frame, Rawlings could not add their company logo to the sleeve, a perk that MLB only allows a contracted jersey supplier. The jersey has all numbers and the letters in the NOB (O. SMITH) sewn on in double tackle twill, red trimmed in navy blue. The NOB is sewn on a nameplate, which, in turn, is sewn on the jersey itself. The jersey features the team 100th Anniversary patch sewn on the left sleeve. This jersey shows moderate use.
