This lot features a road blue Ozzie Smith 1983 St. Louis Cardinals jersey exhibiting quality overall use. The jersey has "CARDINALS" and Ozzie's #1 sewn on the front of the jersey as well as "O. SMITH" and "1" on the back. The Rawlings size 40 swatch and "Set 1 1983" flap tag sewn into the bottom left inside tail. Very popular style jersey amongst baseball collectors as the logos on the Cardinals jerseys are hand stitched on the front and are attractively detailed. The "Wizard of Oz" is a HOF'er, 15 time All Star and 13 time Gold Glove winner. Oz was a human vacuum at shortstop for 19 years and was a first ballot HOF'er in 2002.
