This lot features a rare, vintage 1976 Oakland Raiders Super Bowl XI Championship player's Vince Lombardi Trophy awarded to defensive tackle Art Thoms #80. This ultra scarce trophy is a little over 18 inches in height, 7.5 inches in diameter, and weighs approximately 8.5 pounds. This handsome trophy is also accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity, signed letter on a color 8x10 photo as well a as the player's football card. The Raiders defeated the Vikings by the score of 32–14 to win their first Super Bowl. The game was played on January 9, 1977, at the Rose Bowl[5] in Pasadena, California. Fred Biletnikoff was named the Super Bowl MVP.
