This lot features an extremely rare 1927 New York Yankees team signed baseball. The official American League Ban Johnson baseball has 23 signatures with a clubhouse version Babe Ruth on the sweet spot. The rest of the signatures have been authenticated as genuine and includes HOF'ers: Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri, Waite Hoyt, Earle Combs and Herb Pennock as well as tough signatures Urban Shocker, Pat Collins, Dutch Reuther, Mark Koenig, George Pipgras, Wilcy Moore, Ben Paschal and Johnny Grabowski. The ball has remained in nice condition over the years and has nice, bold stampings. The signatures grade in VG/EX-EX/MT condition overall. Accompanied by James Spence Authentication.
