This lot features a Mike Schmidt 1988 Philadelphia Phillies game used white home jersey. The Phillies trademark “P” logo is positioned on the left breast, sewn on in maroon tackle twill. Schmidt’s number “20” is sewn on the right breast and on the back of the jersey in maroon tackle twill. “SCHMIDT” is sewn across the back shoulders in maroon tackle twill over a white nameplate. A circular 3 ½ inch diameter Phillies patch is sewn on the left sleeve, with a maroon Rawlings wordmark sewn on the right sleeve. A Rawlings size 46 tag is sewn on the back inside of the collar with tapered "T" and “SET 1 1988” flags attached. The jersey exhibits light overall use and wash wear, evidenced by characteristic puckering of the Rawlings tag. Beautiful all original example from the 500 HR Club member's final season.
