This lot features a Mickey Mantle c. 1970's-80's autographed worn New York Yankees hat. The New Era size 7 3/8 exhibits quality overall use. The hat was originally donated to a charity auction by Mantle in the 1970's/80's. It cannot be determined if the hat was worn by Mantle during his playing career or, more likely, an Old Timers Day game since this has was only made in 1968. Mantle has singed the inside brim in black pen. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance detailing the hats origin as well as a JSA Letter of Authenticity for the Mantle signature.
