This lot contains a hand signed original Michael Jordan sports illustrated featuring the UNC North Carolina Tar Heels. This issue came out on November 28th 1983. Michael Jordan helped UNC win the National Championship in 1982. The magazine is signed in bold black marker and is the style of Jordan's signature very early on his career - very rare! It is framed with Carolina blue matting and measures 13x16 overall. Michael Jordan is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players of all time, and his journey to greatness began at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, also known as UNC. Jordan played for the UNC Tar Heels from 1981 to 1984, where he became a star player and helped lead the team to the NCAA championship in 1982. During his time at UNC, Jordan honed his skills and developed his signature style, which would go on to make him a legend in the NBA. Despite only spending three years at UNC, Jordan's impact on the program is still felt to this day, and he remains a beloved figure among Tar Heel fans.
