In the NBA's 1997-98 season, the game's greatest player of all time would win his sixth NBA Finals MVP, his 6th NBA Championship, and the following season would retire for the second of three times. Some sportswriters would go so far as to suggest that the game was so easy for his airness that after a second 3-peat, it just didn't challenge him enough. This lot features a rare MJ representation from his final season ever as a Chicago Bull in 1997-98. This historic gamer features 2-color sewn on identifiers throughout with the customary Jordan name drop on back and is original and authentic in every detail matching known exemplars for size and specs. It is appropriately triple tagged by Nike with size 48 manufacturer label and flagged for +4 added body length. The inner side seam contains Nike dual flap tags including origin and year 1997-87 ID. Overall, the mesh road red jersey exhibits light but appropriate NBA wear throughout and earns a final authentic grade of GU 7.5.
