This lot features a 2006 Miami Heat NBA Championship 14K Gold & Diamond Ring Presented to Heat forward James Posey. This massive 14K gold ring weighs an impressive 71.2-Grams with over 5.25-carats of genuine diamonds. It is approximately size 9-9.5 and remains in Mint Condition. A stunning piece-of-history, it is displayed in the large, original custom wood presentation box as well. Stamped “JOSTENS 14K” on the inside, along with “James Posey Sr.” engraved in script. The Jostens appraisal from 2006, when gold was 1/2 the price of what it is now, came in at $19,630.00 (That does not take in account the collectors value). There were only sixteen (16) player versions of this championship ring created, and while this ring was created for Heat Forward - James Posey, it is not his “player version" ring. This is an "Executive Version" ring made to give to his father, and is the tier below the player version, and the same version that Head-Coach Pat Riley opted for. This is also the exact same version that recently sold for $66,000 which was ordered by Dwyane Wade. Aesthetically appealing and visually stunning ring from the Miami Heat's very 1st NBA Title.
