This lot features an extremely unique NFL Films reel of the 1972 regular season game played between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets in Miami. The "1972 Perfect Season" was one of the most memorable team efforts in American Sports history and this unique one-of-a-kind item would be the perfect addition to any Dolphins or NFL collection. The game featured on this film was perhaps the most exciting game of the perfect season between the Dolphins and the Joe Namath led New York Jets. The Dolphins staged a 4th quarter comeback concluding in a Mercury Morris 14 yard TD run to defeat the Jets 28-24 to go 10-0 on the season. They would win their last 4 regular season games and all 3 post season games for a perfect 17-0 season.
