New York Yankees Russell Athletic road gray size 46 jersey worn by baseball's greatest reliever of all time, Mariano Rivera, memorable 2000 season. This is one of Rivera's most sought after jerseys due to the fact that he led the Yankees to a World Series Championship in the "Subway Series" and earned 2 saves in helping the Yankees to another World Championship. The jersey itself shows nice game use and is unique in the fact that it has the "YO" patch sewn into the lower left front tail referring to "Year 2000" and has the black Bob Lemon memorial arm band on the left sleeve. There is a special World Series patch that has been added to the right shoulder. We believe the patch could have been added after the World Series for display purposes but it definitely adds a nice touch. Rivera has signed the jersey on the back in silver sharpie and added a special inscription "Game Used, 00 W.S. Champs.” This is an extremely sought after Rivera game used jersey due to the fact that it has many unique features that differentiate it from a "normal" Rivera gamer with the special "YO" swatch, Bob Lemon memorial armband and "Game Used" inscription. Accompanied by an LOA from game used jersey expert Lou Lampson grading the jersey a 9.5 overall as well as a Steiner Sports hologram authenticating the Mariano Rivera "Game Used" inscription and signature.
