Harmon Killebrew was a legendary baseball player who spent the majority of his career with the Minnesota Twins. Born in Payette, Idaho in 1936, Killebrew was known for his powerful swing and ability to hit home runs. He was a 13-time All-Star and a six-time American League home run champion. Killebrew also won the AL MVP award in 1969, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. Off the field, Killebrew was a respected member of the community, known for his charitable work and dedication to youth baseball. He passed away in 2011 at the age of 74, leaving behind a legacy as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
