Obtained directly from the Minnesota Wild this green home jersey was worn by Parise during the 2020-21 season. Parise the son of the late great Minnesota North Star JP Parise was born and raised in the “State of Hockey”. Selected 17th overall in the 2003 NHL draft by the New Jersey Devils, is where Parise spent his first seven seasons. He made his NHL debut in 2005 after the lockout season and scored his first goal in his first NHL game. Parise was named an All Star during the 2008-09 season and eventually was named Captain to start the 11-12 season, taking the Devils all the way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Parise signed a 13 year deal in 2012 to come home and play for his “Hometown” Wild. An impact player Parise, scored 38 points in 48 games in his first year with the Wild, a lockout shortened season. He then went on to score at least 20 goals five times in his first eight seasons with the Wild. On February 7, 2020 Parise played in his 1,000th NHL career game. In nine seasons with the Wild Parise has scored 400 points with 199 Goals and 201 Assists. The 2020/21 season he had 7 of those Goals and 11 Assists.
