This lot features a black/cherry David Ortiz 2006 Boston Red game used Rawlings block letter model M456B bat measuring 34.5 inches and weighing 32.3 ounces. The bat exhibits outstanding player use characteristics with deeply imbedded ball and stitch marks as well as blue ink transfer marks, white leather scuffs, cleat marks, pine tar and #34 written on the knob in black marker. The knob is stamped with the model number (M456B), order number (239) and year (06). Coveted gamer of this 500 Home Run Club member, 10 time All-Star and soon to be HOF'er. Signed on the barrel by Ortiz in silver marker. Professionally authenticated and graded a perfect PSA/DNA GU 10 by John Taube.
