Bruce Sutter 1988 Atlanta Braves home white game used jersey features "SUTTER" sewn to a nameplate on back in navy blue tackle twill. The "ATLANTA" across the chest and his number "23" on back are sewn in with red on blue tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a "Wilson" manufacturer's with size 42 flag tag attached. The "88" year tag is sewn underneath. The jersey shows nice, moderate overall evidence of game use. There is a number change on back from 40 to 42 as Sutter claimed 42 after Rick Mahler was traded to the Reds during the season. Sutter wore both 40 and 42 during the season so this particular jersey was worn by Sutter the entire year. Sutter recorded 14 saves during the 1988 season with the Braves, the 12th and final year of his Hall of Fame career.
