Randy Myers 1987 New York Mets road gray game issued playoff jersey features "NEW YORK" across the chest, "MYERS" across the back and his number "48" on both sides, all in blue-on-orange tackle twill. The inside front tail of the jersey features a "Rawlings size 46" manufacturer's tag with "48PO87" swatch sewn in. The jersey does not exhibit any evidence of game use which is appropriate given the jersey was never actually worn. The Mets lost the Eastern Division to the St. Louis Cardinals despite winning 92 games. This jersey was originally acquired directly from Darryl Strawberry's representative back in the late 1980's.
