Mike Mussina wore this size 48 home white New York Yankees jersey during the 2008 season. This white pinstripe Majestic button-down jersey features “NY” sewn on the front left chest in navy tackle twill. The Majestic tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail with two flags that read “2008” and “48”. Mussina’s number “35” is sewn on the back in navy and white tackle twill. The right sleeve has the 2008 All-Star Game patch, while the left sleeve has the 1923-2008 Yankee Stadium patch and a memorial black armband in memory of former Yankee player and broadcaster Bobby Murcer. The jersey exhibits moderate overall use. The 2008 season was Mussina's 18th and final season in the majors and he went out with a bang, winning 20 games for the 1st time in his Hall of Fame career.
