This lot features Joe Mauer's 2006 All-Star Game used bat. The Rawlings blonde block letter bat measuring 34 inches and weighing 32 ounces shows excellent player use characteristics including deeply embedded ball marks, ball stitch impressions, small repaired handle crack, blue ink transfer marks, pine tar and #7 written on the knob and barrel end in black marker. There is "456MR AS '06" stamped into the knob. Joe won his first AL Batting Title in 2006 by hitting .347. Mauer has signed the front barrel of the bat in bold, black marker. Very significant game used bat of this Twins fan favorite. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA grading the bat a GU 9.5.
