Official International League J.C. Toole baseball signed on the side panel by legendary Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson c. 1920-28 in black fountain pen. There are two other light signatures on the opposite panel that are difficult to read, one is catcher Ben Egan. "Big Train" signatures on baseballs are extremely difficult to obtain and this beauty displays nicely as a single. Johnson ranks 2nd to only Cy Young in career wins with 417, won the pitching "Triple Crown" 3 times and the MVP award twice. He led the league in K's 12 times. Quite simply, he was the most dominant pitcher of the early 20th century. He passed away back in 1946 at the age of only 59 so his signature is a tough one to find. Don't let this one pass you by.
