Description: David Wells 2002 New York Yankees home white pinstripe game used jersey features "NY" on the front left chest and his number "33" on back sewn in with navy blue tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a "Russell Athletic" manufacturer's tag with size 54 as well as the 2002 year swatch and +4 extra length flap tag. The jersey exhibits quality overall evidence of game use. The 2002 season was Wells' first with the Yankees and he didn't disappoint, going 19-7 with a 3.75 ERA.
Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use. Miedema concludes: "After a thorough examination of this David Wells game used jersey, it is my opinion that this jersey is authentic as described and can be attributed to being used by Wells during the 2002 season with the Yankees."
