Blonde Kent Hrbek 1986-89 Minnesota Twins professional model bat exhibiting heavy use. This bat has the brandings (Model Number H258S, Center Brand, and Barrel Brand) that confirm its manufacture for the personal use of professional baseball players. In this case, Kent Hrbek’s name in script indicates that he had an endorsement contract with H & B at the time of manufacture. Game use is evidenced on this bat by the presence of pine tar, hit marks, ball marks, and cleat marks. The bat remains un-cracked. "REX" is present on the knob with small markings all the way around the knob, Hrbek’s nickname as he was known to his Minnesota Twins teammates. The knob itself is unique to Hrbek as he ground it down so he could cup part of his right palm over it more comfortable. Very nice early career custom Hrbek bat. Hrbek has signed the barrel of the bat in black marker.
