This lot features a baseball signed on the sweet spot by legendary New York Yankee Hall of Famer Babe Ruth. Ruth completely dominated his sports more than any other athlete in history. He was actually a pitcher for the first 5 years of his career and actually won the the first of his 12 American League Home Run Title with 11 HR's in 1918 while hitting part time on game that he pitched! Ruth began playing and hitting everyday in 1920 and his HR total rocketed to 54 when other "Home Run Hitters" from the era would end the year in single digits. Important to note that there are no signature removals from this ball making it a true Babe Ruth single signed baseball and one that is becoming rapidly more difficult to find. There is an inscription on the side panel that reads "6/17/48". The dating of the ball was not made by Ruth. Accompanied by a full PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.
