This lot features a Carl Yastrzemski 1983 Boston Red Sox Louisville Slugger signature model C271 bat. The bat measures 34.5 inches and weighs 33.7 ounces. It shows evidence of significant use with ball marks, stitch marks, handle crack and #8 written on the knob in faded black marker. Yastrzemski is a member of baseball's Hall of Fame as the well as the elite 3,000 Hit Club. He was named the AL MVP in 1967 after winning baseball's elusive Triple Crown leading the league with 44 HR's, 121 RBI and a .326 BA.
