Description: Xander Bogaerts 2014 Boston Red Sox game used jersey features "RED SOX" across the chest and his number "2" on back sewn in with blue on white tackle twill. The front tail of the jersey features a "Majestic" manufacturer's tag with with size 46. The jersey shows moderate evidence of game use and has the 0630 interior tag present on the inner side seam. Accompanied by Bogearts' gray and red team undershirt. Miedema states "Worn during season up to and including 1st game of DH vs. Orioles, a 3-2 win for Boston. (Team wore normal home unis in game 2). Made for 4th of July but game was rained out. Possibly the only remaining July 4-5 Red Sox gamer in the hobby with Lou Gehrig patch intact as patch was ironed on and removed after game on most or all others".
Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema authenticating its use. Miedema concludes: "After a thorough examination of this Xander Bogaerts game used jersey, it is my opinion that this jersey is authentic as described and can be attributed to being used by Bogaerts during the 2014 season as well as game 1 of a double header played on July 5th against the Baltimore Orioles in which the Red Sox wore a special ironed on Lou Gehrig patch on their upper left shoulder."
