This lot contains a collection of 11 vintage Playboy Magazines from 1979. This was the popular Masters and Johnson interview. The Masters and Johnson research team, composed of William H. Masters and Virginia E. Johnson, pioneered research into the nature of human sexual response and the diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders and dysfunctions from 1957 until the 1990s. Playboy was founded in Chicago in 1953, by Hugh Hefner and his associates, and funded in part by a $1,000 loan from Hefner's mother. Vintage Playboy magazines are collectors now that the printed magazine is nearing its conclusion.
