Authentic mid-to-late-80's professional Sports Specialties "The PRO" cap attributed to being worn by heavy-hitting Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt. Displays season-long use and all correct tags, specs and styling specific to Schmidt, Phillies, era and maker - including classic "P" logo embroidered on front of vented 100% wool six-panel red shell and brim, topped with white crown button. Proper vintage "THE PRO" tag is sewn to back interior band with Sports Specialties '[size] 7-1/4' tag adjacent. Schmidt's retired uniform number "20" is markered under brim as depicted. Clear obvious use throughout, including soiling, sweat and salt. Phillies were last National League club to wear this maker. Great display and includes personal LOA from consigner detailing its acquisition.
