Exceedingly rare first edition copy of the popular book "The Sea Wolf" written by Jack London in 1904. The book itself is a collectors item and is very difficult to find. What makes this particular book even more incredible is the fact that it has been signed and inscribed by the writer himself, Jack London, and dated December 20th, 1914. London was a novelist, journalist, and social activist. He was one of the first writers to become a worldwide celebrity and was also an innovator in the genre that would later become known as science fiction. Some of his most famous works include "The Call of the Wild" and "White Fang", both set in the Klondike Gold Rush, as well as the short stories "To Build a Fire", "An Odyssey of the North", and "Love of Life". He also wrote about the South Pacific in stories such as "The Pearls of Parlay" and "The Heathen". London passed away back in 1916 at only 40 years of age, making his signature virtually non-existent. This lot presents a remarkable investment opportunity to acquire a piece of literary history.
