belonged to Pat Mooney who was a Lakers Executive and friend of Jerry Buss. Accompanied by a Letter of Provenance from newphew Eric Mooney. The “Drive-for-Five". The ring remains in near perfect mint condition. The Los Angeles Lakers 5th NBA Championship in Los Angeles. Their 4th NBA World TItle since 1980 ….stopping a loaded Boston Celtics team in 6 games. The amazing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar would turn 40 during the playoffs and Magic Johnson was voted 1987 Finals MVP. There are 10 Hall-of-Famers now, from just those 2-teams, counting Head-Coaches Pat Riley & K.C. Jones.
