The Lake Erie Monsters capped off what can be considered their best season to date with an impressive playoff run to capture the AHL’s Calder Cup Championship. Not only did the Monsters bring the Calder Cup back home to Cleveland for the first time in 52 years, but they were also named the AHL’s Team of the Year for the 2015-16 season.
