This lot features the actual baseball that was hit by Kirby Puckett for his 1st career Major League baseball hit on May 8th, 1984 against the California Angles in Anaheim, California. The ball reads "1st Big League Hit off Jim Slaton, California Angels 4 for 5, 5/8/84". This was the first of 2,304 career hits for Kirby. Highly coveted Kirby Puckett milestone game used baseball.
