This lot features a Kirby Puckett 1994 Minnesota Twins game used and autographed bat. This blonde Louisville Slugger model P116 Kirby Puckett professional model bat measures 34.5 inches, weighs 31.8 ounces and exhibits evidence of excellent use. There are numerous ball marks and ball stitch impressions visible on all sides of the barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers. There are cleat marks as well as a light coat of pine tar on the upper handle and remnants from a weighted batting donut as well as a spiral tape pattern on the handle (tape removed). The bat has "34" written on the knob in silver with a black marker starburst around it, outlined in silver marker. The bat is accompanied by PSA/DNA Authentication grading the bat a a GU 9. Puckett batted .317 with 20 HR's and led the American League with 112 RBI's in 1994 which was a strike shortened season. He was on pace for 168 RBI's.
