This treasured lot features a Kirby Puckett 1993 home white Minnesota Twins jersey that exhibits excellent overall use. The customized Puckett jersey has a total of 6 velcro swatches sewn inside the jersey as is the norm for Puckett jerseys. The open style Twins "TC" logo adorns the left sleeve and the Russell Athletic "R" the right sleeve. Russell size 50 manufacturer and size tags are sewn into the lower left front tail as well as the "34-93-3" swatch sewn inside the collar representing Puckett's #34, the year and set. Kirby is a Twins legend leading the team to its only two World Series Championships in 1987 and 1991. He was forced into early retirement due to glaucoma and passed away way too early at the age of only 45. Kirby has signed the front of the jersey in bold blue marker. Puck was named an American League All Star in 10 of his 12 seasons and was inducted into the HOF in 2001. Most of Kirby's jerseys have found their way into private collections and only a miniscule amount of those were actually signed by Puckett making this one of the more sought after Puckett jerseys in the hobby.
