This lot features a Kirby Puckett 1989 Minnesota Twins game used bat. This Louisville Slugger model C243 Kirby Puckett professional model bat measures 35 inches, weighs 35 ounces and remains un-cracked with outstanding use. Numerous ball marks are visible on the right, left and back barrel. Ball marks include blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Cleat marks can be seen on the left and right barrel. There is a moderate coat of pine tar on the lower and upper handle. Puckett's player number "Three Four" is written on the knob and "34" is written on the of the barrel in silver. The bat is accompanied by PSA/DNA Authentication grading the bat a perfect GU 10. Nice, early career Puckett game used bat from his only batting title season in which he hit .339 in 1989.
