This button up road knit jersey features "PUCKETT" on the back in blue tackle twill, "34" on back in red-on-blue tackle twill as well as "MINNESOTA" across the chest and his number "34" in red-on-blue tackle twill. The inside collar of the jersey features a "Rawlings" size 46 manufacturer's tag, set 1 1987 flag tag and "34-87-1" jersey/year/set swatch sewn in. The appropriate Twins team logo patch is located on the left sleeve while the Rawlings name is stitched on the right sleeve. The jersey shows tremendous overall game use as Kirby wore this coveted jersey throughout the 1987 season while leading the Minnesota Twins to their very first World Series Championship. Puckett finished 3rd in the American League MVP balloting in 1987 while leading the American League with 207 hits. Accompanied by both a letter of provenance from the Puckett family as well as a Sports Investors Authentication Letter of authenticity & Photomatch tying this jersey to the game in which Kirby hit his 40th career Home Run on April 13th, 1987.
