This attractive lot features Kirby Puckett's 1986 home white Minnesota Twins game used jersey. This jersey was worn by Kirby during his 2nd year in the big leagues. This is a difficult early career Puckett jersey to acquire. Visually appealing jersey pullover style knit jersey with the Twins team logo on the left sleeve and Twins 25th Anniversary logo on the right sleeve. The Wilson size 44 swatch is sewn into the collar and the 86-2 year/set tag is sewn into the lower left front tail. Kirby made his very 1st All-Star Game in 1986 and also won his 1st Gold Glove and 1st Silver Slugger Award. Puckett hit .328 with 31 HR’s, 119 Runs scored and a whopping 223 hits in '86. Puckett would finish 6th in the MVP voting in 1986 and also received his 1st of 6 “Gold Glove” Awards & “Silver Slugger” Awards. The jersey is all original, exhibits light to moderate overall use and is accompanied a Letter of Authenticity from Sports Investors Authentication.
