This lot features a rare Julius Erving c. 1984-1987 Philadelphia 76'ers reversible practice jersey exhibiting excellent use throughout. The jersey was initially acquired from a collector who befriended Dr. J and there is a detailed letter of provenance provided. The mesh jersey size L was manufactured by Jesco in Williamsport, PA. The reversible jersey is red and white with "SIXERS" on the front and "6" on the back. Dr. J was one of the most exciting ABA/NBA players to ever take the hardwood and was instrumental in taking the stale NBA game to new levels in the 1970's-early 1980's. Great jersey with quality provenance of this popular HOF'er.
