Incredible Joe Mauer 2009 blonde Rawlings Big Stick bat measuring 34 inches and weighing 31.5 ounces. The bat shows outstanding player use characteristics including ball marks, cleat marks, stitch marks, blue ink transfer marks, small handle crack and pine tar. What makes this bat especially unique is the fact that it was used by Joe Mauer to hit his 50th career Home Run on May 16th, 2009 against the New York Yankees in old Yankee Stadium during his American League MVP Season. This is the only known, documented Joe Mauer Home Run bat we have seen. The bat was acquired directly from the Minnesota Twins Pro Shop in Roseville, MN. There were only 8 Joe Mauer bats given to the Twins Pro Shops in 2009. Mauer has signed the bat in blue marker and added 2 inscriptions: "2009 AL MVP & 2009 AL Batting Champ." The bat is authenticated by MLB for the game use and Ironclad Authentics for the autograph and inscriptions. Incredibly unique documented Home Run bat from Mauer's AL MVP season.
